    Nice one 1976
I hope you and your dad along with the rest of us, have a fantastic day of football and put together with great memories of your mum, your day will be a bit more special than most of us.

Some things money can't buy. Hope you both have a great day 1976!

My mate's Dad was offered £1000 for his WC Final ticket in 1966. He didn't sell and saw the game. I believe he only told his wife many, many years later - it would have paid his mortgage off at the time...

I would go insane watching at home...would be shaking so much I'd turn TV off and try not to look until the end. Much better to be surrounded by fans and if we win......

    I wouldn't.

I told me 9 year old sister at Walsall game in the 93rd minute to watch the next scenes unfold as you will remember moments like these forever!

    Just was amazed!

Brings a tear to my eye thinking about it!

My nan died in 2007 and was as passionate as anyone about Sains. Always had her little radio on to listen to the games, phoning me up afters to say how she think we played.

When Redknapp became our manager, she kept saying about how he is only here to take us down. (she was right)
My nan always went on about 1976 and when Keegan etc played for us, saying how amazing the fans were that day.

She also told me about when she was a wren in the war, stationed in pompey. Telling me how terrible a place it was and how rude the people were. <laugh>

Shame she didn't live to see us get back in the good times, but i'm sure she will be there in spirit. <ok>
