Let's compare stats and look at a possible effect that singing 3 little birds may have had on the team

Sat 4 15:00 H Blackpool FLC L 1-3
Tue 14 19:45 H Peterborough FLC W 3-1
Sun 4 12:45 H West Ham Utd FLC L 0-2
Tue 13 19:45 H Hull City FLC L 0-3
Sun 18 15:00 H Burnley FLC D 0-0
Wed 21 19:45 H Coventry City FLC D 2-2
Sat 31 12:30 H Millwall FLC D 0-0
Mon 9 15:00 H Watford FLC D 1-1
Tue 17 19:45 H Derby County FLC W 2-0
Sat 21 12:30 H Leeds United FLC D 1-1

10 pts from a possible 30 since we started singing it
compared to 25 pts from the previous 30 BEFORE we started singing it

Thoughts.....?

Got to be honest,it's got a bit boring. Bring back some of the old classic songs:

"I'm forever throwing bottles,
Pretty bottles in the air,
They fly so high,
Nearly reach the sky,
Like West West Ham they fade and die!
Bristol's always running,
Swindon's running too,
We're the Cardiff boot boys,
Running after you!"

<laugh>Don't worry about a thing my arse.

I agree it's become a boring now.
I blame Ali or whoever plays the music. At the Palace game it was spontaneous but they found the track and have played it to death ever since <doh>

ITI...nice rendition of an old classic <laugh>

I agree. I love Marley but I remember thinking when it was first played 'this is tempting fate'. Give it a rest Ali, it's wearing thin,

Yeah it's getting a little tired now and I think perhaps also a little unlucky.. Although I will never forget the whole Cardiff end singing it during the Cup final this season, one of those hairs on your neck on end moments.

Personally I think we should be bringing back the old classics.. "Always s*it on the English side of the bridge" is one of my all time faves and myself and Dad reckon they should incorporate Malky's name into Scoular's old chant..

"His name is Malky Mackay he's the leader of the Blues,
we never get beat at the CCS we never ever lose,
he'll take us to the Premier League,
the place where we belong,
so when you see the boys in blue,
you know you can't go wrong..

lalalala lalala...

I agree too - time to stop! Saying that, if we don't win/draw tomorrow then we've got a few months to wait before being 'forced' to sing it again.
Let's hope for a positive result tomorrow - and a safe journey.

Funny thing about this debate we started to belt it out when we held a 1-0 lead over Leeds as soon as I heard it I turned to my mate and said what the hell we started that for its only in recent games when we haven’t sung that song that we have started to pick up a few points again. 5 Mins later 1-1 playoff in the balance till the final day.

That sums it up for me!!

Who`s that Twa* in the big black hat.....Dixon, Dixon,
Who`s that Twa* in the big black hat.....Dixon is his name,
On the beat all day, on the wife all night,
Who`s that Twa* in the big black hat.....Dixon, is his name.....I think!
