Thus far, Chelsea have been given 17,500 tickets for Champions League final (which frankly, is a pathetic amount regardless of circumstance).

Allianz arena has a capacity of 66,000.
How ticketing for CL final is due to work is equal allocation for the two finalists (17,500 each, total: 35,000). Then there is allocation given to the host city and the sponsors, I don't know the split but lets say its 50/50, which is 15,500 tickets. So in this scenario, given that Munich is the host city they will effectively have nearly double the number of fans Chelsea have in the stadium.

The final is not supposed to be a home fixture, so would Chelsea not be well within their rights to request an equal share of the host city tickets?

If that's the case then yes we should at least try. You don't ask, you don't get <ok>

Not gonna happen I'm afraid, even if we were to ask. The sponsors pay a much higher price for them than the supporters and there is no way an organisation like UEFA is going to say ok to accepting less money. If they could they would give all the tickets to sponsors and third parties, but they have to at least look a bit like they care about the supporters of the clubs.

The problem is finding the fans to go. Such is the nature of the CL final, you won't find out whether you should book flights and hotels up until a few weeks beforehand. That includes taking time off work and all of that. So trying to get enough fans over to fill the seats may be tricky, especially if you request a lot more.

Meanwhile, As Bayern are at home, they are virtually guaranteed to fill every seat they're given.

Your allocation is pathetic and you should get and deserve more tickets,UEFA have already given Bayern the advantage of a home game, the same thing happened when we had to play Roma in the European Cup final at their own ground, cant remember the exact allocation but they basically gave us the area behind one goal and the rest of the ground was Roma(a home game),after Roma reached that final UEFA said it will never happen again that a finalist plays at their home ground, lying ****s.

Also lots of Bayern fans probably applied for final tickets months ago knowing they were in with a chance of making the final in Munich and being able to sell them over the odds if they did'nt reach the final.

The venue for the CL final is decided 2 years before hand. No one could know the Bayern would make the final.
You certainly can't change the venue for one of the worlds biggest show piece events at a few weeks notice.

Once Bayern qualified for this season's competition UEFA had the opportunity to choose a different venue,a venue where none of the CL competitors play home games.

The venue doesn't bother me too much, it's the ticket allocation!

I reckon it puts pressure on Bayern to win it when it's at their own with 17,500 englishmen screaming at them ;)

Agree with this, If Bayern reached the final 2 years ago, why would it have been implausible to do it again?

The most farcical thing about it is Bayern have 30,000 STH's alone, how can you give them 17,500 tickets at their own ground? <laugh>

It does put pressure on them to win it,but why shouldn't more Chelsea supporters be given the chance to see their team win it if thats your destiny?

UEFA are like the FA,they dont give a flying one about grassroots supporters.

I don't mind playing in Munich but finals are supposed to be in neutral venues which should be reflected in at least the size of ticket allocation given if not in location.

As with us in Rome you'll see that Bayern's 17,500 will suddenly turn into three quarters of the stadiums capacity on the night.

So that means you can't hold the CL Final at any ground of any team that qualifies for the CL incase that team makes it to the final LOL

Not many grounds left to play it in then are there. Tool.

No, but it's likely. In the same way it's likely Real or Barca could.

And AC Milan? ManU? So now we've got 5 times likely to reach the final. Should be a good game.

Arsenal where in the CL so that excludes them going by PMT's criteria.

EEngland had it last year and next year.Do you really thin Uefa would give it 3 times to us?
