Leeds to sign El-Hadji Diouf... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7703380/Leeds-hold-Diouf-talks
They're just trying to build a team of absolute villains. Everyone they sign now is a complete ****er. I said when they signed Brown last summer that they were a perfect match what with him wanting to break everyone's legs. Then they get Warnock who of course is such a lovely guy and a true sporting gent (like when he instructed Shaun Derry to have Deano go off injured) next they sign Paul Robinson another dirty sod and now bloody Diouf!
Did alright for us, only pulled a knife on his team mates once ! Bit of a nutter but a decent footballer, even saw him score a winner against the Tigers in the good old days when you were in the Premier League.
It's almost as if they're trying to embrace the 'most-hated, dirty Leeds' tag. Might not be a bad tactic to be honest - us against the world and all that.
Have to admit, with Ronny missing that penalty, Diouf signing for Leeds and me on holiday from today, things are looking up!
Have to say, am quite impressed with TWS fans views and comments on that article. Maybe they're not all inbred, violent, subhuman morons after all. Heh, just kidding, course they are, still, good to see even they have some morals.
No chance and Not with Colin in charge they wont.imo. Did not Colin call Diouf worse than a sewer rat last season after he broke the leg of a DQPR player in an FA Cup match ? Blackburn v. DQPR Jan 2011 i think it was ?
As much as Diouf is a twat, and Warnock is a twatty guy, and Leeds are a twatty club - I could see him doing well for them. Typical Warnock player, typical dirty Leeds player. He's a good pantomime villain though.
Maybe Warnock feels it's "better to have him in the tent, pissing out; rather than outside the tent, pissing in"?
WRONG AGAIN. It was Cisse (the Cisse who is at DQPR now) and by the way that Goal was Offside. Scumberland would have gone down but for that goal. Another reason why Newcastle hate the mackems. There is only one Cisse and thats Papa.
I forgot about that thing he said to be honest, so could have a bearing. I remember Mourinho calling Ronaldo a gypsy (or something similar) when he was at Chelsea. Few years later, he's retracting the lot and they're best mates at Real. I think Warnock would just say "yeah, I said it, but now I need you". And Diouf will go "Better than Donny s'pose". Deal done. Probably.
Very true. But that will just make Colin even more of a hypocrit than he already is. Could well see TWS ending many games with only 9 men if he did though.
