Oh definitely, I'm really concerned about Ivan and Ramires being out. JT is massive but I reckon Luiz and Cahill can do it!
Well you will know from before we play the final if you will have finished 3rd or 4th. Plus we're not Spurs so in the very unlikely scenario that we win it we won't be rubbing it constantly into your faces (well maybe just a little bit for the first few weeks ), we will mainly be happy and proud for ourselves.
Of course it is mate, but surely first in North London isn't that bad either? I actually had nightmares when Spurs were in the Champions League that they would go on a dream run and win the whole thing at the first time of asking. Then Real Madrid brought me back to my senses.
Watched the game last night and couldn't decide who I wanted to win. Didn't want to play the Germans at home, and didn't want to come up against Jose and the likes of Ronaldo. Maybe Bayern are the slightly better option?
I was the same Nino, but I decided that Bayern would be the best team after all. Mourinho knows our most influential players inside and out (JT, Lamps, Drogba, Cole) and as evidenced in the tie we played against Inter a couple of years ago, he knows how to stifle them. Bayern are a good side but not as good as Real. I think Bayern had an advantage last night in that they rested most of their first team at the weekend, wheras as Real had a full team out in a harsh battle with Barca. It showed in Extra time, Bayern had better legs.
Very happy Bayern won. Love Jose but he would be difficult to outwit given his insider knowledge. Real are a better side than Bayern I think most would agree so on 2 counts Bayern winning I think gives us more of a chance. Plus, Bayern have a few players suspended for the final to. Not losses as big as ours, but still a factor. Perhaps worryingly, I'm starting to fancy our chances!!
