As with other from the Welsh side of the Bridge, so sorry to hear this news. Condolences to his family, friends and BCFC fans. Natch will be greatly missed.
Natch was one of my favourite posters on here, we had some cracking banter usually away from the Bristol boards on GC. I knew nothing of this sad news what a great shame to lose a life so young. R.I.P Natch, God bless you and your family.
****ing hell, thats quite shocking. RIP Natch. I feel for his family at this time and will miss his presence on here.
I knew Natch through facebook (before my wife banned me, flurting with old girlfriends etc) we started off friends in the old 606 days and because of the type of witty guy he was onto facebook through our love of BCFC and music, Natch was known as Ernie Clinker and he named his son Jake after Jake Burns of Stiff Little Fingers. As I had lost touch with him it came as a massive shock on Saturday when the announcement was read out and his family and friends released 41 red, white and black balloons. Dave was only 41, I feel so much for his family, Dave's Mum wrote in the E.P. Peace after pain and donations from the funeral were for Oncology and St Peter's Hospice. What should of been a happy day on Saturday didn't turn out as it should, I sat there in shock and sadness. As you know this was my little boy Freddie's first City match so I would like to think Freddie can fill that gap left by our Natch. Never forgotten Mate.
I was a member of the 606 forum but never really posted. However, everytime I was on there, Natch always had me in tears! even though I didn't know him, he was really was a great laugh and seemed a top bloke. RIP Natch
Could one of you link this with OTIB so that his family and close friends might get a chance to read these messages of sorrow and affection?
Haven't posted for ages (lots of reasons) but thought I'd check in after watching us beat the drop, hoping to catch up on some banter. Could hardly believe what I was reading. I saw the balloon tribute and thought what a great way to send off a City die hard, of course I had no idea at the time that I'd actually exchanged views and banter with the fella. Obviously my shock and sadness cannot compare to that of Natch's family and friends, to whom I offer my deepest condolences and best wishes for the future. The same too to you CJS, as you too must be findings things very difficult at the moment. 'If I should go away, Beloved, do not say âHe has forgotten meâ. For you abide, A singing rib within my dreaming side; You always stay'. from 'For Gweno' a poem by Alun Lewis
Hello everyone. I'm new to 606, first post! I started the 'before kick off' thread on OTIB and, on behalf of family and friends of Natch, I'd like to thank you all for your very kind words and thoughts. It's clear that he was a very well liked and respected poster on this site. It is incredibly moving to read such tributes from fellow Reds, Gas 'eds, Bluebirds, Swans etc. You've done 'im proud! I will try to link this thread to OTIB but I'm not sure how? Any advice or help would be appreciated. Oh, and everyone should read todays (Wednesdays) EP. Nice story on pages 4 and 5!
Hello CTID, I will look out that story from the post.. Welcome by the way and make sure you continue to pop by for some football banter.

Thanks for the welcome banks'. Will keep an eye out here always. It does seem a very friendly forum with good people. I'm enjoying searching Natch's old posts at mo. Funny bugger wern't he!!!
You can post the link in the browser from this thread to otib that would work ? I seen an article in the sun about his family winning £3.5k, if that's the one don't usually buy the evening post
