There was an article which stated that MoN would be on a 'sell to buy' transfer policy sooo...

you cant be that thick surely???? if they are champions they are champions..

this article has **** all to do with newcastle you thick ****! its about sunderland funnily enough and if any team finishes in the top half of the table one season no it does not make them a top half team. unless they do it consistently...

    Let's not get abusive.

I do think if you finish top 10, you're a top 10 side until proved otherwise.

By your reckoning we are a top 10 side because we finished 10th last season

Yes. And we're going to be at least a top 6 side.

Newcastle fans are allowed to comment but come on its Sunderland we are interested in so how we get into them v us is an irrelevance.

Now, my take on our, SUNDERLAND, transfers.

Shorts sell before you buy, IMO, is part of the story, I see no way that Short will not back MON but Short and MON know we need to offload the over paid deadwood.

Bottom line to me is whoever MON brings in is fine by me, I do expect more sows ears, its Marties style to produce silk purses.

spot on. o'neill loves to buy british, and if short's recent record is anything to go by, o'neill will get all or most of the money he brings in so we should see moderate spending.

also, if we'd carried on as we started under o'neill, all the actual problems with the team would have been hidden, and possibly ignored. he and the squad have had a reality check which will help us long term.
