BLACKBURN (31 pts) Wigan (h); Chelsea (a), Spurs (a) = 32 BOLTON (33 pts) Spurs (h), WBA (h); SAFC (a), Stoke (a) = 38 WIGAN (34 pts) Mags (h), Wolves (h); Blackburn (a) = 39 QPR (34 pts) Stoke (h); Chelsea (a), Man City (a) = 37 VILLA (36 pts) Spurs (h); WBA (a), Norwich (a) = 37 Currently Villa -14 and QPR -18 goal difference. I predict that its Blackburn and QPR to go and Villa to survive on goal difference
I think both of us would jump for joy at seeing Villa relegated. Huge karma for us both. Seems they could use a messiah, ant or dec maybe?
The Wigan v Blackburn game is huge for both sides, it's mainly the only 6 pointer fixture remaining down there. It could also play into the hands of the other sides fighting relegation.
QPR have won 4 on the bounce at home and are gaining momentum. That result last night was huge for Boston and Villa. I cant see Villa winning another game. Where i can see Blackburn QPR Boston and Wigan winning atleast one more. Its gonna be very close. Hope its QPR villa wolves
Yep like most folk I do not mind if Villa go down, if only Bendtner's goal had stood last weekend. I do however want us to beat Bolton, or actually to score a couple of goals cos' it seems a long time since we hit the back of the net. So I would also like QPR to stay up but their remaining fixtures look tough. Finally the game I really want us to win is against Manure, if it denies them the title even better
I think it will be between QPR and Villa and could come down to the last game of the season. I can't see Blackburn getting out of it now. Wigan are playing good football and are on form, so are Bolton. The problem for Villa is QPR are doing well at the moment too but they have 2 x tough games against Chelsea and Man City away. If QPR get something at Chelsea and Villa get nothing in their next 2 games they will go IMO.
QPR's schedule looks too tough, unless they do a Wigan, so it's them and Blackburn for me. Shame the Villa and Judas won't be dropping, but there it is...
If we go on stats; history show's only one team has survived relegation having been bottom of the league after Christmas and that was WBA. Bolton were the team this season to have that enviable tag. So it's looking like Blackburn & Bolton to go along with Wolves. I would prefer Blackburn & Villa as the other two though.
I did a predictor last week and it came to the conclusion that if Aston Villa lost at home to Bolton then Villa would get relegated on 36 points.
I can see it being Blackburn & Bolton. However like everyone would be awesome for Villa to go down.....finally a premiership without a Birmingham team (hoping brum don't get promoted)
