In the first leg, it was pretty much everyone bar Spuds. Bizarrely Liverpool. And a few confused Rangers fans. Arsenal and United, partly because they have suffered v Barca and are regular CL competitors, were behind us. Thought Liverpool fans would be the same out of the regular Champions League clubs rather than the tourists, like Spuds
Would imagine the spuds & Newcastle fans would want us to lose in case we win the thing ans they lose their spot!
Some United were honest and hoped we'd bash Barca and get beat in the final. You would think Sours would be the same
Gotta be honest....I don't support any of them in Europe. Spuds are so totally inconsequential that I don't even know they're playing. Liverpool I hope lose every game.
If Newcastle end up third with arse 4th then I will be a Chelsea fan for the final <OK> And if you did win it I would simply say what an incredible achievement. Getting past the teams left would be what dreams are made of! Would only be surpassed by uniteds treble season IMO
I support English clubs in Europe; it helps our coefficient and in effect Chelsea and English footie. Even Liverpool and 5pud2

I would like an extra time win with you losing in the final (unless we get 3rd)...no offense, it would just hurt like a bastard if we did somehow manage to get 4th place and then lose out because you won it!
That would be a shame for Newcastle, I'd love to see you guys in the CL next season. That said, I'm fully behind Chelsea tonight as are a lot of other United fans I know. I'd find it hard not to support you in the final too but like I said, I'd also feel bad for Newcaslte if you won it.
Newcastle could still make 3rd, game in hand and relying on Arsenal slipping up isn't unrealistic. Newcastle 3rd, us to win the Champs League
My straw poll of the office is made up of: 1 x Arsenal 2x Utd 1x Liverpool Apart from the scouser, the others are with us. Out of my mates up here, who are an even mix of Utd and City, the City lot are behind us, with appx 50% of the Utd lot as well. In all honesty, who gives a **** if people aren't with us...they're all gutted not to be in our shoes...I know plenty of Chelsea fans who wouldn't support any of the others if it was them so it balances out
won't "support" Chelsea tonight but will want them to win, although it pains me to admit. As an Englishman through and through I like our league to be the best in the world, as it is now and should always be - we're the home of football and I know FIFA die inside every time an English team wins the CL, results all round.
I have nothing against Chelsea but on this occasion I have to hope that you guys lose. I'd prefer you guys to get to the final and then lose, as it means more games, but that would be extremely risky as, well, you might win. We're fighting for 4th (Newcastle) so I want that spot to remain a CL spot. Every team for themselves I'm afraid. PS: Obviously us finishing 3rd would be fine and I'd like to see you guys win the CL on that occasion, but obviously we won't know whether we'll get 3rd until right at the end.
