thank God you aren't going...I was beginning to worry that you'd be sitting near me a put the complete mockers on my day out....please stop posting, now is the time to get behind the team
I don't mind admitting I am ****ting myself over this , others may be confident and fair play but I am too worried for that , we are running out of steam , early goals are needed , west ham will batter hull .
It's in our own hands...West Ham don't have that. How sweet will that be to win on Saturday and find out that the Hammers won 6.0. That won't happen..a couple of goals may be, but a win for us and nothing else matters. The ground will be rocking...a couple of Saints goals in the first half would set it up nicely.
Good God what sort of person are you gomarching !!!? Saints are in a great position to get into the Prem after all that has happend to the club and its supporters over the past 7 years. I feel so made up about that, that i just cant comprehend your non stop posts of doom & gloom ! IF it all goes wrong on Sat, then there will still be the play-offs and IF they go wrong there will still be next season etc - life goes on, etc, etc. However i have full faith in our team winning and gaining promotion on Saturday afternoon - and then you will be able to join the rest of us in the normal world ! I am SO looking forward to Saturday lunchtime in the pub and then at mecca. COYR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Off bickering subject alert. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ When Nigel Pearson was our manager, he was a very single minded determined man, when he spoke he was ofter short, blunt & to the point. He was a man I respected. Since his little Leicester/Hull/Leicester merry go round, not only does he seem to have lost some of the old fire in the belly, he's seems to have inherited a Premier League excuse book. They should have made the plays offs this year, Sven can take some of the blame, but moaning about being short on players just seems a bit outrageous with the amount of players coming in over the last twelve months. I would say I hope he turns it around, but I don't really care if he does or not.
If we get promoted, gomarching won't last long after the fixture list is published. Being pessimistic doesn't protect you from pain, so we might as well look forward to Saturday and cheer the team on.
I understand that , I went to nearly every game under the Branfoot era I know what crap is , this is very very different though , we can see the prize but we have to grab it , I thank the lord the season is over Saturday ( I hope) as we would be screwed .
You know what, I don't agree. I think Hull will put up bloody stiff resistance, because there's a playoff place for them. Besides, WHU are going to be as nervous as hell. One mistake and third will be the only option for them. You see, there is a different way of looking at things, and this view is just as valid.
Erm.......No they wont you muppet. Hull City have the 2nd best defensive record in the championship. No wonder you are bricking it as you know nowt about football. West Ham can win 20-0 and it wont make a jot of difference. Even a draw should be enough for the Saints,, imo. Get a grip man. Saints are in the box seat and i would swap places with you in a heartbeat.
Last time I looked they could. Just checked. Yep, they can't. As they say, always check your facts. OK, perhaps WHU will batter them Why..? Because they have nothing to play for. But it will be at home and WHU are still a bit nervous of home games, despite their big result the other week. Which begs the question, why should Saints have any trouble despatching a side that also have nothing to play for, and are much, much weaker and dispirited than Hull..?
Saying "West Ham will batter Hull" can not be based on a rational analysis of the game. The only way that a person can come to a conclusion like that is through mindless pessimism. There is no rational-minded person who would look at that game and see it as an easy win for either side.
No 4, maybe even 3 if say 5-2 win and a 0-0 result for the Saints. WHU have +32, Saints +35. If that was 1-1 Saints then 2 teams are exactly equal and Saints go up on head to head record!
I'm not predicting what will happen in either game tbh. I am nervous as hell so the nervs will just cloud my judgement.
Well i had £90 on West Ham to win. I won £215 quid which will be spent on celebrating saturday if we turn over Coventry. I know we can do em, no mercy, just mash em boys!!!
