Would we pay £35m for Modric?

ZZ...I really dont get the hype either,never have. A show pony...and the spurs show has come to an end. To resurrect his career he needs a move and 15 mill tops.

 

Dont actually see why we need him anyway, Mata is much better in that role and scores goals as well,we just need to stop putting him out wide and get a good left winger.

 

Pretty much spot on. Sorting the wingers should be our priority in the summer so Mata can stay in the middle. Hazard, Hulk, Willian i suppose are the dream names but I'm sure there are plenty of options out there. Maybe then try Sturridge in the middle especially if Drogba goes.

I know we're ALL bored to death of it but as many of us said on here, if the price is right...

 

Modric has not developed as I thought he would. By now, I thought he would have finally started to add goals or even assists to his name, but his work in the final third is not of the highest quality. His shooting at times, is piss poor. He does what he does in the middle park, but is a player like that worth the money that is talked about when the Modric transfer stories start?

 

We should disassociate ourselves from this one! The Spuds want more than he's worth, and if we've got to spend £40m. we could refit a totally new squad with clever acquisitions!

 

I see what you mean, but Xavi is the same. Barely any goals or assists, Modric was so important for 2/3's of Spuds' season though!
