Hello all, long time reader on 606, but never posted. Heard you lot had moved to not606, so joined today. So first post, as the title says, What a great time to be playing Chelsea & Spurs, with them still being in the CL. What a problem ( selection wise ) for the managers, do they both play full strength teams against us, because both teams are not automatically guaranteed CL football next season yet, or have they both got 1 eye on the CL. For me Roman wants to win the CL, so i think Chelsea will play a weaker team, saving themselves for the tie v Man Utd, so Stoke 2 Chelsea 1. Spurs, for me this depends on the result away against Real Madrid, if Spurs do not get hammered then i think Harry will play a weaker team against us, thus concentrating on the 2nd leg v Real. If they do get hammered & we beat Chelsea in the league the w/e before, then i think harry will put his strongest team out, to try & get into the top 4. So, 3 interesting games coming up for us potters, we could be playing against 2 weakened sides due to CL games, & if other results go our way in the league we could be well safe, then the big Semi-Final against the trotters. 3 big, big games for us potters which will define our season, so come on TP, & come on STOKE CITY. i hope your right mighty huth i think we have a great chance on saturday and yes Roman wants the CL .But for us its all about momentum and we have it at the moment so i think this is the chance to hit the 40 point mark and anything from Spurs will be a bonus.Regarding your username for me Huth has been immense since he joined and is certainly my player of the year up to now. You never know we might be resting players for European ties next year ?
