I find it rather odd that Derry didn't know that Taarabt had been sent off. Surely Derry looks to pass to Taarabt occasionally? As for it being a good thing, no, I’d like Hughes to have a full squad of players to pick from.
I recorded the ESPN game and I fast forwarded to the foul, when Taarabt got sent off Derry and Hill were around the ref moaning and pointing to Taarabt (while he was walking off) as they spoke to him, so I think its lies.

QPR999, I was in the Upper Loft and as you said VDV was not enjoying himself at all, you could see the stress on their faces as thing were'nt going their way. In the last ten minutes after Adel was gone and Spurs got a corner, Bale jumped the wall and ran up four seats to get the ball, i thought he was going to do a Cantona on someone. He got some stick for that, and that was in the family area! Yellow card job, i think!
