I'm not slagging him off, I honestly do like the lad. I'm just saying I think it's an area we need to improve. Just because he tries hard doesn't mean we can't have a thread on him and see constructively where he goes wrong. He DOES lump the ball up very often allowing teams to regain possession and he DOES let more crosses into the box than Colback and Rico.

This season in particular Bardo's had the luxury of having Seb play infront of him. He helps out defensively alot too.

That's just my opinion, obviously it's a one that divides the SAFC fans, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get half the amount of games next season as he has this season.

dont agree with RIcco being poor either (at LB), he was doing fine there and improving. not the best but good enough. Colback is better than Ricco though, I have been very impressed when Colback has played there.

Obviously a striker is our main priority. If we had a certain Mr Bent I honestly think we'd have another 10-12 points on the board. The league is very poor this season, NUFC have had the luxury of having Ba and Cisse firing them in all season, that's why they are where they are. Makes you wonder where we'd be if the greedy bastard didn't piss off to Villa (who are deffo one of the poorest tams I've seen this season. They were absolutely abysmal on Satururday)

    Mclean also helps defensively.

Not sure where you get the impression Bardo gives the ball away cheaply. Plenty of our other players are guilty of that. O'Shea (at RB) is by far the worst culprit, and, recently, Gardner has been doing so badly at it either.

as you said it is all opinions, but I have been impressed with Bardo at RB this season, and Gardner hasnt done too bad a job there either.

Gardner's best position is right back, as he has good feet and keeps the ball, and it stops him from shooting and endangering the life of innocent children behind the goal.

It also means the fact he can only pass the ball 2.4 yards is well disguised.

Surely Bardo is one of our most consistant players. When the team has had a bad day generally Bardsley has shone. If we had another 10 as consistant or as passionate, we would be doing a lot better.

To be honest look at our goals against column, its not too shabby at all and when you think about all the CB changes we have had it makes it even more remarkable. We need to improve things going the other way more than we need to improve the defense.
