Hi, just wondered why you didn't mover to the large section front left which was almost totally empty..you have sympathy.
Hi Kingsland block 37 ... great to meet you too. Was that your Dad next to me? What a cracking bloke he was. When he first came to his seat, I thought this old fella might get a bit fed up with me and my son screaming and singing all the way through... little did I know that he would be shouting and singing too. If he was your Dad, what a top man. He did him self proud with his singing and vocal support of the team. Pleasure sitting next to you two. You are right about the idiot. I think he would have turned on whoever said anything to him. Sometimes it's not worth it and in the end I used it as an example to my boy about how you shouldn't behave.
I'm starting to think this 'Guly bashing' is in people's heads. I'm not sure where you sat, but we may have been in a similar area as I recall a boy doing similar things. That said, when Guly came on, there was a lot of applause and even chanting of his name. Do people at away games not hear these things? It is almost as if they block out the positives and focus solely on the negative aspects.
Yes it was my Dad sat next to you - I will pass on your praise . I've learnt all my support from him and as i'm sure your son will say that it's great to be able to have days out at the football with your Dad, no mater how old. Look forward to bumping into you again!!
Yes there was when he came on, but after that people behind me and infront started the Guly bashing. maybe not a lot, but loud enough fro me to hear. It wasn't just Guly though, if you go back to the OP, I said that for the last 12 minutes the support dropped rather than increased, which I felt was what we needed.
usually im on the ball, but my game was slacking that night. it was the sudden shock of a fit saints fan turning me round.
