    Santon deserved a 9 IMO. Thought he was our best player along with Cabaye. Absolutely top class that lad.

    Why give Krul only a 5, it wasnt his fault Stoke didn't get a shot on target

    Agree with that, Cabaye is quality on his day and with Jonas & Tiote holdig more to allow him more freedom he looks classy. And Santon definitely seems to be improving in confidence. Let's not forget Enrique didn't exactly have a fantastic start for us in his first season, but soon became a favourite.

    Give the likes of Cabaye & Santon a bit longer and they could really become key players for our future.

    I know but you can't give him a high rating for not doing much either.

    Just because it's not his fault that he didn't have to do much doesn't mean he should get a higher rating. 5 isn't a bad rating, it's just average.

    Tash, I think you might need to reconsider before the real Mr Tiote hears aout this (and I'm assuming you're not volunteering to tell him yourself in person???)
    But seriously, I think in agame we won 3:0 where the likes of Cabaye had more freedom to get forward and where Stoke hardly posed a threat, then Tiote deseres a lot of credit. And if either of those 2 wonder strikes he had near the end had not been brilliantly saved, we'd all be raving about him.

    5 is generally regarded as an off game. I think 6 is generally regarded as having done one's job competently but without anything to make it stand out. I'd give Krul either a 6 or a N/A on the basis that, like an 88th minute sub, he didn't have any opportunity to make an impression
