It's pretty ****ing cringeworthy having people say it's cringeworthy to give praise to something simply because it's them up the road, if you ask me marra. I comment on teams and players from all over the world on this board, and as one who did compliment them, also a season ticket holder of 24 years, from Sunderland, and a die-hard fan, who has renewed, yet again, despite living 1300 miles away and only making 3 home games this season, I see no reason why I can't give credit where it's due. It also reduces any ammo they have to throw at us about them beating us this season.

When they got relegated a couple of seasons ago, I wanted them to struggle for a good few years like we did, but they came straight up and are now doing well...
