Hopefully it wont matter if we beat stoke but i want Citeh to win the game and if they do, they will be ahead of Utd and I just want to see fergies face as they choke away the title.

what an unbelievable game! a real pleasure to watch and all credit to everton for their never say die attitude! of course we would have preferred a united win, but what a game that was, so pleased for everton and their supporters!

ideally we want a draw in the next game... wolves would still be down and city would still be behind united even if they beat them next week... i would say thats pretty much mission impossible but as man u and everton have just proven, football is a crazy game!

Ive just realised that we now could be seeing the title winners in the final game for about the 5th season on the trot.

Bad result for us. Wolves need to get something from City and they're having a right go...

Always said the results for Wigan v Arse, ManU would come back to haunt.
As long as we get a point at Chesea and win against stoke and of course results go our way that Man City game might not important.

How ironic if we are safe before the ManCity game and ManU need us to help them out??? Remember Ashley Young, Fergie because we do.

Bad result no question. We didn't want City to have anything to play for in that last game.

Absolutely. After Ashley Young's oscar winning performances and the inability of anyone at Man Utd even to apologise for getting a decent professional sent off I hope they lose the Manchester derby and that Young plays, dives and is either taken off for a serious injury after psycho De Jong punishes him or is finally booked for doing so. Can't wait for the inquest then that is started by 'ol purple nose. You know the one. How there is a conspiracy in the press against Man Ure and they can never get a decent refereeing decision because everyone hates them.

Mind you, Still can't see City stumbling over the line though as they have yet to play away at Newcastle after the derby.

I'm not sure we are in any worse position if City are top on the last day when they face us at the Etihad. Not sure they have the nous or the bottle for the pressure that will be on them that day.

Lol. Us, Spurs and Arsenal feel the complete opposite atm.

It's funny how that result has had a knock on effect for at least 8 other teams.

There is a lesson in this for us. Go for it. None of the big boys are that good. If we are brave enough to have a go who knows what might be achieved. teams that set out to contain and defend at all costs when playing away at fortress stadia have lost already.

Not sure I go along with that. They will be under huge pressure if they need to win and you never know what that will do to players.
Imagine Tevez, Aguerro and co if they're totally relaxed!!!

Spot on - them needing a win, or even worse a draw, to have a shout puts them under immense pressure, of a kind they have not had before. The crowd will be very nervy, ideal circumstances for Sparky to shove their dismissal letter where the sun don't shine. Bring it on ( though actually think we may be safe by then).

This is my hope. We're safe. United and City are both going for it in "must win" games. Then 15 minutes in SD commits an actual foul on one of City's players in our box, denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity. They get a pen. He gets sent off with a smile on his face. "They'll be crying on the streets of Surbiton tonight". <laugh>

Regardless of the result, I'm not so sure City will play thier reserves or what ever, in the last game of the season, at home.

I reckon they may want to thank thier fans with a win....!

Christ it just a game against a good team but we are showing that when we fight we are as good as any of them. United the largest club in the world folded yesterday plus anyone agree with me that Wolves played good stuff yesterday ?
Man City are good but beatable so as a club we need to believe and fight

I would take Adel Taarabt over Silva
I would even take Diakite over the best player in the division this season
    Yaya Toure
    Barton over Barry
    Taiwo over both their two
Hill is playing better than their players

They have some tricky forward talent but we can upset them
