I have just been reading this story from the beeb website. it appears that Piermario Morrisini has not had an easy time of it during his young life, and after reading this story Udinese have now become my favourite Italian club side. Much respect to the club and everyone associated with them.

Lovely story, Mabon and very sad in its way. That family has had more than its fair share of troubles.

Like you, Udinese have become my Italian team as well. "Fantastic" is a word that has been done to death by every foreign footballer/manager who has learned English but it is a fitting way to describe what they are doing here. Total respect from me too.

Doesn't that make you feel that there is a soul in football when you hear this ? I am really glad that they are helping this young lady after losing all her immediate family.

    Puts things into perspective honestly.

What a caring move by Udinese club, just goes to show there is still some good left in this world, but what a sad plight this family has gone through, the poor girl has lost both parents and brothers, very sad indeed, thanks for putting this up Mabon!............. <ok>

What a fantastic club to do this for sister. Such a tragic story, only goes to prove that the club are decent people.

Great but very sad story. Top marks to Udinese. <applause>

Always had a soft spot for Diego Forlan when I found out he always sent a chunk of his wages back to Uruguay where his sister who was disabled in a car accident was being cared for. Top man.

Classy stuff. I'd like to think The Swans would do the same, God forbid anything like that should ever happen again.
