Dean Windass tweeted this morning that Middlesbrough were out of it but his beloved Tigers were hanging on. I was puzzled so just looked at the table and I suppose he thinks that Middlesbrough will lose to Southampton at the weekend, but he must still be confused or on the drink again cos unfortunately there is just no way back for us. even if the teams on 71 lose their last 2 games the goal difference kills us.

I believe a booking for diving is only supposed to be given if there's a serious attempt to con the referee. I don't think diving for comedy value gets a booking, that's why Elliott got away with it all the time. I'm sure the free kicks he got were for artisitic merit and implementation rather than the referee thinking he'd been fouled.
