I just hope that he lasts the game or at least an hour. How can PL judge whether he is to be in our squad for the new season if he never plays or cannot be relied on. He could be the Norwich version of Darren Anderton who acquired the nickname sicknote. So frustrating.

For a player so young, he still has a good chance to get fit and play consistently. He's clearly a talent. You don't get to play, and score, in the prem at 16 if your not. He needs a chance we should be patient he could well be a great player for us.

Agreed. He has great potential. But sods law probably means he won't recover from these persistent injuries.

He's got undoubted ability - he could be a star for us if he stays fit (and that's a big if).

Whitbread took his time in getting fit enough to play and he's been excellent for us BUT .... he still gets injured doesn't he and is one of these guys who will never be fully available for most of the season I reckon - the same could apply to both Vaughan and Ayala unfortunately.

Hope Vaughan gets a run-out but that this doesn't crock him for the beginning of next season.

barring another injury i can see him playing a significant part in our last four games. given this and the off season to get really fit we could be in for a pleasant surprise next season.

Good now people can shut up and stop getting on his case. I remember people being negative about Whitbread a little while ago. Let's give him the chance he deserves keep patient and I'm sure he'll find some goals.

vaughan in the starting eleven, rather surprisingly. thought he would make a sub appearance at best.

Would top the season off nicely to see him get a goal and keep his fitness running through to next season!

Doubt he will play the whole game whether Lambert intends to sub him or he gets injured. Hopefully he won't get injured though.

Sort of makes sense starting him. Generally muscle injuries occur near the start when muscles maybe a bit cold. If you bring him on he has to adjust quickly and could be problematic if not 100% warmed up. Holt and Vaughan upfront could well be a great partnership
