I can see Ranger retired in 20 years time.

 

Could be just like me.. A footballer who tried to be a pro but failed miserably. Didn't even make it to semi-pro. Now I'm a basic lazy no-hoper(joking) with low ambitions in my woefully average life.

OR

Could potentially be MUCH, much better than Carroll(faster, stronger, etc..) and be the Toon N.9 for YEARS to come.

OR

Be a average L1/CC level player for the rest of his life.

It's all up to him though..

 

He won't be with the Toon however it turns out in 10 years. He will either;

follow his gansta leanings and end up in prison

or

fail to live up to his promise and drop down the leagues

or

live up to his promise and be brilliant, in which case he will jump ship to the first team offering him a payrise, because somehow I don't see loyalty as being one of his good points.

 

I can't see him wanting to play in the lower leagues, if he's not doing really well i don't think he'll be playing football

 

He honestly could be any of the above! He could find his feet and be the next Drogba, he could blow it all and end up playing in League 1/2, or he could end up as a guest of her majesty! It really could be anything at this stage! Hopefully the former, and hopefully with us! Unless of course Liverpool are willing to take him for £40 million+

he's a twat.. there's no getting around that. You need to give 110% on the training pitch to see results on the field and thats the same in any sport, whether your amateur or pro.

OR, playing football at some level, depending on how he controls his attitude.
