I just read that myself. It's amazing to think how fast he has progressed at NUFC, especially considering the club/league he was at before.

It's a brilliant story and he sounds like a really likeable lad. Really hope it works out for him!

On top of that, being a ginger myself, I'm really hoping Richardson, Newton and Adam Campbell start for us in a few years time!

    Great story.

I'm really pleased for the lad and his head is screwed on the right way. He knows that this is his opportunity and I can see him grasping it with both hands and making sure he's a success.

As the article related; those who get accepted at academy level often think that they've made it at the age of 13. Ranger seems to be one of them.

A bit more aptitude and a realisation that he's incredibly lucky to be in this position but needs to keep improving to ensure he has a good career wouldn't go amiss.

Perhaps Richardson and some of the other senior squad can re-iterate this to him.

Don't know if you've ever been to the far east aginairrr? My young nephew (now 10 years old) used to live in Singapore when my brother worked there. Red hair just doesn't occur amongst Orientals but red is their lucky colour. They go crazy for it. We'd be out at the beach or something and gangs of Chinese and Malays would queue up to have their photo taken with him. Was ridiculous but in a nice way!

Edit: obvious from the context but I forgot to say that my nephew also has ginger hair.

No I haven't, but I'd love to go. Even more so now that I know that I'll be treated like a god!
