Seedings for europe

    Its been a while since we have been in europe 5+ years

    So does that mean we wont be seeded

    I remember when we got in CL back in 2002/3 we were in the third pot and had the group of death which we overcame in the last min thanks to Mr bellamy <somersault>

    anyway europa/or champions league how would it go ... i think its got something to do with UEFA coefficients

    You won't be seeded fot CL or Europa qualifiers and will be 4th seed in any CL group. You would be 4/5th in Europa groups aswell. It just makes it that little bit harder for you as you won't have much of a chance to rest players and give squad players game time.

    Thats funny because Stoke and Birmingham were in the 3rd pot for Europa League, could be in the top half for Champions League.

    I'm not too sure myself how they calculate it exactly but I think that the club's history in European competitions won't weigh much in the balance. There are other factors like our league and domestic cup performances, league ranking etc coupled with the PL coefficient which accounts for most of the coeff ...
