No worries. Your statement "i've heard him speak mexican on youtube but never heard speak spanish i could be wrong" could be one of the funniest things posted on this site.

Christ no. There's quite enough experience in the squad without adding an over the hill goalpoacher.

You yak some crap sometimes kid.

Matth he has played some 86 matches for Schalke and scored 36 goals since 2010. However in 2011/12 he has 18. Yes a good return in 40 matches but where are the 20 goals mate? Besides even Peter Crouch has scored 13 goals this season in less games played. Are you suggesting we sign him?

Stay away from Twitter mate. Full of crap.

Raul no doubt was a good signing for Schalke. He was a great player over the years but as I've said he is way too old in my eyes to be of real benefit to United. Better options out there.

True, but i won't be shocked if we sign some experienced players this summer.

What is that based upon? Last season we lost VDS, Scholes (for a while), O'Shea and Brown. All experienced players. We signed Jones, and De Gea who were both inexperienced. Yes Young was signed and he was a seasoned player but not in the same league (matches wise) as Scholes etc. Why now do you think we will sign anyone experienced?

United already have more then enough "experienced" players around the club with the likes of Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Carrick and Fletcher, not to mention the likes of Rooney, Young and Valencia who are hardly short on experience, I really don't see why we would even consider adding more.

Oliver Norwood has revealed that he has been offered a new one-year contract by Manchester United.

The 21-year-old has spent the last six months on loan with Coventry City in the Championship.

At the end of the season he will return to Old Trafford, where a fresh deal will be waiting for him.

"I have an offer for another year at Manchester United," said Norwood. "It's my big dream to play for United - but I want to have a successful career, wherever that is.

"Every footballer just wants to be able to play football."

He said on Twitter (I know I hate it) "Got offered a new contract at united in jan, will decide when I go back in summer what's happening".

Done really well at Coventry and he has a superb range of passing at his disposal. Very similar to Beckham in that respect though I feel he works harder. Would love him to stay and get a chance at OT.

That's Lucas Moura, if you don't know much about him he is a young, fast and extremely tricky dribbler. He has the potential to be the best winger/attacking midfielder in the world in my opinion.

Manchester United are considering a stunning £10million swoop for *Swansea’s on-loan *Icelandic star Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been monitoring the *midfielder, who is enjoying an outstanding campaign at the Liberty Stadium after arriving from German club Hoffenheim in January.

United assistant Mike Phelan was sent to the *Reebok Stadium last week to watch Swansea, with the champions set to face Brendan Rodgers’ side next weekend.

And he was accompanied by Martin Ferguson, the brother of United’s boss and the club’s chief scout.

His brief was to run the rule over Sigurdsson – an Icelandic international – and he was impressed with what he saw.

United are looking for midfield recruits after being forced to bring Paul Scholes out of retirement in January because of a lack of quality and injuries.

Sigurdsson, a clean striker of the ball, has scored seven times in 14 appearances for the Swans.

He also enjoyed a healthy strike-rate of 18 goals in 42 appearances during two years with Reading before moving to Hoffenheim for £7m in 2010.

The German club value *Sigurdsson at *£10m – but they may look to squeeze more money out of United if the champions firm up their interest.
