Was at the game last night and I heard a song about Danny fox but couldn't catch how it went! Anyone know what it is? Cheers
not sure, was gonna try and start "Our Jos, In the middle of Defence" but everyone around me seemed to be pretty pissed off after i told everyone it was 1-0 Nottingham and then everyone started chanting we are top the league. only to find out we weren't.
It was probably... Cheryl Cole's A Slapper She's Got A Hairy Box And When She's Shagging Ashley She Thinks Of Danny Fox Some of the lads in the Northam tried getting that one going a few games ago.
I came up with a song for him just now, but I haven't put a tune to it yet. Maybe you can help. Danny Fox, Danny Fox, He plays long diagonal balls, They rarely reach their target, Danny Fox, Danny Fox, I'm unsure as to his credentials for playing in the Premier League. I know it doesn't rhyme, and the rhythm is quite confusing.... Maybe it won't catch on. (All jokes aside, he's not that bad)
I thought my little disclaimer at the end would prevent comments like this. Perhaps not. I don't hate Fox. He's fine. Probably. We'll see.
Nah, I've seen you post previously on the lad, really disappointing to see such aggression towards our own players. I suggest you don't comment on him in future as you quite clearly hate him.
That's quite a strong claim, so I will request some evidence please. If I say I don't hate him, then I don't hate him. I think I know a little more about how I feel than you do.
I have not the time nor the desire to search through your previous posts, but I am quite certain you have slated him several times before, and seemingly focus on him rather than the team. Prove me wrong if you feel so offended, however I know what I witnessed being posted from your account.
I have criticised certain individual performances from him, if that's what you mean. I've also been impressed by him plenty of times. I'm perfectly happy to have him in the team, but whether or not he is good enough to be first choice next season remains to be seen. Oh and you made the claim, so the burden of proof is on you my friend.
I have criticised Dan Harding before, he was good in L1 and at Palace away he was good too. I'm not a big fan but I can appreciate. I think Joe feels the same way about Fox, it's fair enough.
The way I feel is that Harding suits our style more as he plays the passing game, but maybe his technical skills are lacking a bit. I think Fox is the opposite - technical skills are there, but I often feel he doesn't make the right decisions. Still, he can put the ball on Rickie's head well enough.
My posts may contain an air of arrogance, but that is merely because I believe in my opinions wholeheartedly. As a person I most certainly am not arrogant.
We could combine the Guly chant with one for Foxy. To the tune of Hot, Hot, Hot... Guly, Guly, Guly, Guly and Danny Fox, Fox, Fox Personally I've always wanted the crowd to sing (to the tune of Riders on the Storm) De Ridder's on the ball, De Ridder's on the ball, Like a goal away from home, Like Pompey going down, De Ridder's on the ball.
Everyone of our players brings something just a little different to the team and a sure method of deciding whether you have an irrational dislike of a player is to ask yourself do you despair when his name is announced in the team or you see him coming on as sub. I can hear the blokes behind me groan when good old Guly's name is announced and he hasn't even kicked a ball. I can honestly say that only one Saints player has ever left me feeling like that and he was Lew Chatterley. In our present squad I am yet to be convinced that De Ridder is a great footballer but I am not disappointed when he comes on because he brings something different and he does change the game. By the way with regards to Gully if you look at the gallery on the OS for the Posh game there is a photo of him with the other players celebrating Razor's goal and there is real joy on the bloke's face. He is a gem and a great player and doesn't deserve the abuse he is given.
