Listening to Radio Leicester after last nights game it's quite clear that there are growing numbers in the above camp ( I am not one of them). I think all our problems stem from the relvoving door that has become the Managers office at LCFC over the last 12 years.

But if you got your way, who would we get as a manager?

Because, I believe in our current situation we would not have a chance of getting a decent Manager.

I tend to lean in agreement with the views above, but as ive said on other posts, i have doubts about the owners patience, and NP needs to be aware the so called old guard are past it,in some cases, and just dont cut it in others, but i believe given the time over the summer, he will address those problems, and build his own squad.
However looking at some of the teams that could be in our div next season, i am by no means expecting anything to be easy

Changing managers mid-season has never really worked, Warnock hasn't really been living up to expectations seeming he got a team promoted last year, the fact is we and Leeds need to give Pearson and Warnock respectivly time, and because we've got cash, fickle fans expect us to be up straight away.

The only people that should get sacked are the boo boys, our club doesn't need them.

IM open minded on pearson, I never call for a managers head. but up to now im unwhelmed...he appears (on last nights showing) to have had no influence on this team so far..if things are not on track early next season he will be gone by the end of october...as for booing ,I never do, but... if people pay their money they are entitled to do what they like in the stadium within the law...all this we have fickle fans stuff..ALL clubs have fickle fans...especially when the players talk big and deliver a mouse... blaming the fans instead of the real problem is wrong...the REAL problem is the players lack of commitment and application this season..they have TOTALLY FAILED...I will not make excuses up for them..critizse them not each other..

Anyone who is calling for NP's head is wrong - FACT! He is proven at this level, with our club and has one of the best win/loss ratio's in recent LCFC history.

Ive noticed some posters only appear when there is a negative spell but seemingly disappear when the club is in a moment of ascendancy.

john falllen- maybe everyone is getting sick of your constant depressive negative posts after every game, I know I am. And a word to those people who booed gallagher when he came on last night- well done you are all prize tossers who should have stayed in. I am as frustrated as anybody but the world hasnt caved in. We are a mid-table champo team with mid-table champo players and an average manager. The time to go up was last season when we had the best team in the league by a mile- bruma, vitor, naughton, yakubu, kamara- an in-form king, were a million miles away from what we have now. last season in certain home games we played the best footy ive seen as a city fan steamrollering barnsley 4-1 burnley 4-0 donny 5-1 ipswich 4-2 watyford 4-2, the away wins a t scunny and derby, what games fromthis season can you say we have played really well? Im struggling to think of two- derby at home was good, the rest has been garbage. Sven really did have a mare in the summer with haphazard spending yet he should have been given past october, but now we are back to square one. Pearson has only ever proved decent at clubs or situations where theres no real expectation, this is his 1st time with pressure on him, and so far he hasnt pulled up any trees. I fully expect if we are not top 6 in ocytober or november then the whole circus wiull begin again. Im sorry but we need to appoint someone and stick with them, its all well and good saying the owners are ploughing money in so want results but we wont get them by changing the gaffer every few months.

It sounds like Paul Gallagher wants out by the sounds of his brother in laws tweets. Probably had enough of some of the stick he gets and the small people who abuse his pregnant wife on twitter

    Dont blame him

"maybe everyone" that is you ....where are all my negative posts? show me... I just give my opinion (without knocking others views..) unlike you...Then I read the rest of your post and you call me depressive and negative....thats funny....As I said, I never boo but fans pay their money..its their choice ...Gallagher has it in is power to shove the boo's down their throats..but he can't or won't... Im sure fans like you will only be happy if your sitting in the stadium on your own, pure, and showing total blind loyalty in your wonderful players fantasic efforts..

oops sorry foxyjim, but i was about to agree with john fallen, well some of his points anyway, specially the one about aportioning the blame where it really belongs, and that without doubt is the players.

dont think we have had too many moments of ascendancy, this season to be honest, in fact its been a massive let down from start to finish, but far more worrying for me, than the fact of how s***e we have been for pretty much most of the season, is will our owners stick with it, not at the game again last night, no season ticket news, hope im wrong and worrying about nothing but never say never in football

NP doubters. Look how good Marshall, Drinkwater and Morgan have been. Give Nigel a summer and next year we will have a decent team

Excellent points. don't know why we are being so negative, we have been inconsistent since Nigel came in but we were inconsistent with Sven, if anything we have improved under Pearson, we are higher in the table for one.

"Pearson only does well when there is no expectation" - we were expected to get out of league 1 at the first attempt and he delivered.

I think too many people are expecting too much out of players like Paul Gallagher - he will never cover every blade of grass or tackle back, he is not there for that, if he leaves we are losing someone who can do something different, an excellent squad player who can contribute to our season.

My views for what they are worth:

    1) It would be wrong to have a knee-jerk reaction now - any Manager needs a full season in charge (which is why, in my opinion, we should have stuck with Sven until this summer)

    2) Personally I didn't want NP back (but am fully behind him whilst he is manager) - I hoped for MON or, failing that, Billy Davies who really is proven at this level (another poster has made that claim for NP but I am not fully convinced on that) and was unlucky not to take Forest up without the type of budget that both Sven and NP have had to play with.

    3) As I've posted before, I do believe Pearson can, potentially, get us to the Premier League (given the owners spending power etc) but am less convinced that he could a) keep us there and b) make us real competitors in that league. As i've also posted before, under MON I always felt we could give anyone a game on our day - with NP my optimism tends to stall at 'we'll have a good day out backed by fabulous support' when it comes to the really big games.

Just my view and everyone else's is just as valid .. we need to keep in mind that we all crave the same thing for our team - its just on how we get there that we might differ

Out of interest did Nigel respond or make comment on the booing( if that's what happened) of Gallagher?

Something similar happened with us and James Harper and he went mental with the fans.
I was sat just behind the dug out and he was going off on one big style. Effing and blinding and if memory serves me right he mentioned it in his post game interview.

Just wondering if he did anything when Gallagher was jeered.

thats pathetic of fans if that did happen before he set foot on the pitch.

I want us to be the type of club that NP builds- young and trying than a Sven team- all about reputations and money.

I want to be Norwich, not QPR.
