They have shown they can beat teams above them this year, and Clough will have them well prepared. Cardiff meanwhile have not lost in their last 7 starts and have 2 wins in their last 3 games. Home form is an issue for Cardiff, however. Our last 6 games at home have resulted in 4 draws and 2 losses (21st in the league). Derby's last 6 games away has been 2-2-2 (10th in the league.Boro look favourites to win their match tonight against Doncaster, and Blackpool must fancy their chances at home to Leeds. This has become another must win game for Cardiff. I think they can do it. Why? Hard to put a finger on it. I just think there is something about this group of players. I am sure they will battle this game out and somewhere along the way we will take our chance. 1-0 win for me.
derby have nothing to play for, if we play with passion and belief i think we'll get the win we need....
Evening all (whoever's here) Starting XI Marshall, McNaughton, Taylor, Hudson, Turner, Whittingham, Lawrence, Gunnarsson, McPhail, Miller, Mason. SUBS: Heaton, Blake, Harris, Ralls, Earnshaw.
In some ways, we're better if they come at us. We're good enough to exploit openings. We don't want them sitting back being defensive against us. A bit more ball for us now.
