QPR one was a definite dive! The one against villa was exaggerated but there was contact and I thought it was a penalty! And to be fair not many players do get penalties anymore if they don't exaggerate it!
AmberTigerAdam has a point there. The refs have a role to play in stopping diving. I actually think refs are usually very good at spotting dives but there will always be the odd one they can't se properly. The thing is they need to give more penalties when the attacker doesn't dive. If he's fouled he's fouled, why should they have to go down?
Watching Bayern v Real, shocking dive from Ribeiry, didn't even get booked, then the little git goes and scores, typical. Robben already rolling around the floor after five minutes trying to get Coentrao booked. More of the same to come no doubt and tomorrow in the Chelsea game.
Bayern won 2-1, plenty of cheating throughout from Ribeiry, enjoyed the match after giving myself a one-match ban from watching or listening to City
so this one was a trip http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/footb...eo/allvideos-22327918/whistle-blower-28980177
I don't know about that, there is some contact but he's exaggerated it so much it's dusgusting. You can be touched and still dive and that is exactly what has happened here.
I thought it was a penalty when I watched it at the time, he just made a twat of himself with the acrobatics.
The award for biggest bell-end of the year must go to Drogba after last nights 'performance', even the commentator was moved to say they were adding on two minutes of 'Drogba time' at the end of the match.
Ferguson has had a word with Young about overexaggerating contact, made some good points about the cheating the last few nights too.
I blame Klinsman and the Brazilian, can't remember his name, who, dropped like a log, holding his face when he had been brushed by the ball on his knee, for starting all this cheating. Getting the guy sent off into the bargain. Oh and not forgetting the poisoned dwarf Maradona.
Drogba and Busquets were competing for it. Not just diving but making out they were hurt and doing a big crying face every time they went down. FFS they're both grown men! Not only is diving a concept brought over by the foreign players, but in many foreign countries it's still totally normal and they can't see what all the English fuss is about. A bit like monkey chanting at every black player I guess.
I think Drogba has the opportunity to get out of the award though. Apparently Rooney tweeted him during the game saying "oh get up". Drogba should retweet it to Ashley Young.
This is just plain lazy fellas. Next time can a separate thread be started if a bellend is identified different to the one named in the title of the thread? You might not take bellendery seriously but I do. FFS. PS Next person who goes off on a bellend tangent may just be named as a bellend on a thread of their very own. Don't test my patience.
A self explanatory post that can surely have no opponents ouside of the home counties and a minority of Mancunians
