The 21-year-old Brazilian has shown great promise during his time at Manchester United, but he has been unable to command a regular first team place. Injuries havenât helped Fabioâs cause, but Sir Alex Ferguson hopes a spell away from the club on loan next season will prove to aid his development. "Fabio will go on loan to give him concentrated first team experience," he told United Review. "I have already talked to him and he understands the value of playing more.â It is believed Martin OâNeill is keen to offer the young fullback regular football at the Black Cats, as he looks to build on the progress being made at the Stadium of Light.

Are we not talking about 2 different things though. I'm sure Amsterdam is on about NEXT seasons transfers, whilst these 2 are currently on loan for THIS season at Benfica?
