Considering Villa fans attacked Newcastle fans for demonstrating against Mike Ashley, it's a bit rich.
That said - the press did too, when Newcastle were in DEEP danger of going down, yet BACKED Man U and Liverpool fans protesting against THEIR owners at the other end of the table !!!

Why protest ? McLeish is doing a good job and has kept you in the PL for another year at least.!!!!

Lerner wont sack him, he is not ambitious, he is looking to create an average Premiership team that will not get relegated and continue to bring in income for him.

McLeish has done an extremely poor job, in my opinion.
He'll be lucky to still be in charge next season.

Still, he's got plenty of other Midlands clubs to ruin, I guess.

Villa linked with Karl Henry, reported on the Guardian. It's really sad to see the club winding down like this- I used to be an admirer when O'Neill was there.

McLeish as manager, Henry as captain- that's a statement right there! Possibly relegation contenders next year, although I expect to see Wigan, Reading, Southampton, Swansea & Norwich down that way too so may have a buffer.

It is difficult to say until you see who all the clubs bring in in the summer (clearly Bent and Given are high quality), however the togetherness at the promoted clubs will help give the players confidence rather than the wranglings of Villa with the fans, Lerner has to be careful this summer.
