There is no need to check these figures when they are so obviously utter bollocks..As for the media, that covers an awful lot of ground, and if you believe that all the media outlets give an accurate account of what is going on in the world, then you are even thicker than I suspected.

Britons get eighty-five percent new UK jobs
    by Mary Jones - September 5, 2011
United Kingdom, 5th September: Last week’s revelation claiming almost ninety percent of new jobs in the UK go to foreigners is completely false, states Director of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, Jonathan Portes.

Only 15 percent new jobs to immigrants--Portes, who is also an economist, states that the truth is that contrary to the report claiming eight out of nine jobs going to immigrants, only fifteen percent of new jobs went to immigrants in the year 2010.

And the remaining eighty-five percent new jobs were claimed by UK-born workers. Hence, the common concept that more and more UK firms are hiring immigrants for new jobs is wholly baseless and a complete myth since it only reflects the net changes in the UK labor market.

The revelation was based on the figures of ONS (Office for National Statistics) got by editor of The Spectator, Fraser Nelson.

Term ‘new jobs’ misinterpreted--However, since, the data pertains to the number of individuals in employment rather than the total number of jobs, hence the statistics might be making a misrepresentation with regard to the new jobs going to immigrant workers.

In fact, the whole issue is that one needs to understand the actual meaning of ‘new jobs’. The new revelation states that the estimated figures relate not to the number of new jobs but to the number of people in the workforce.

Hence, the figures wrongly interpreted the percentage of new jobs in the UK as taken by immigrant workers.

So, there ought to be some better method of describing new jobs so that there is not confusion in the future.

Another factor worth consideration here is that although foreign workers might have displaced UK-born workers in better economic scenario, but the revelation by Fraser that British workers did not get any benefit during good economic times is wholly untrue.

The fact is that the number of new jobs was more for average UK-born workers. So, to summarize, it may be stated that although immigration is not wholly advantageous for the UK economy, nor is the welfare system alluring millions to go into joblessness in the UK.

Moreover, the free movement of workers is affecting wages in the UK, especially at the lower rung of the ladder.

I suspected that somebody on some website blog was going to deny it but by stating the percentage is 15% is a little suspect to say the least.

Fastest growing political movement in Britain... Thanks to it's refreshing honesty and hard work. Learn a bit about it and then maybe form a valid opinion regarding it's policies.

Utter toss, chum. If I form a party today and recruit a new member tomorrow, I'll have doubled the membership. Whoopee doo. Fact is, people are generally so far from the core beliefs of your (bowel) movement you'll never be more than a political nuisance. We all get knobbed off with apsects of the welfare state, immigration, the European Union etc. but that doesn't mean we all toodle off to Primark to buy a new black shirt.

Having studied politics at degree level, I feel I already know enough to form the opinion that the BNP is based on ignorance and intolerance.

Scary. (Not that you have any credibility for providing accurate statistics after your past bullshit.)

    How vile.

Patronising, sanctimonious and aloof. I'd expect nothing more. Why do you support Newcastle then? That strikeforce doesn't look English to me! Why don't we deport them and play Shola, or is he not English enough either?

NP membership dives to below 10,000

    by Sunny Hundal
The BNP’s membership has dived to below 10,000, says Eddy Butler – one of Nick Griffin’s most ferocious challengers to the leadership of the party.

In a blogpost yesterday he said:

At the Advisory Council meeting held a couple of weeks ago it was announced that the BNP now has only 10,000 members. This means that in the space of a few short months, we have lost 4,000 members. This is easily the highest rate of decline in the party’s history.

Do you remember when they announced the figure had gone up to over 14,000? They had a special ticker counting the memberships going up one by one. Since then that ticker has been spinning rapidly in reverse. We have haemorrhaged members. It is shocking.

My percentage came from the media your percentages came from some bloke sitting in his office (the room next to his bedroom) writing blogs on how mainstream politicians haven't actually messed everything up. When Britain is no longer self sufficient you will remember guys like me who has these views and you will think "If I opened my mind to that prick from the forum maybe I would of even voted BNP or at least sorted myself out an allotments so I can grow my own food rather than consume this imported ****."

If I wanted to scare monger or anything of that kind my views would come across aggressively, which they haven't. I don't preach I am just backing my beliefs up.
