"It wasn't a penalty...but it doesn't matter" No, of course not Neil McCann. It doesn't matter that a team gets a penalty with two minutes to go.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeesht. We played pish. Hooper's goal probably offside. Nonetheless, terrible decision to award a penalty and extremely disappointing to lose like that. That's the season finished now.
I had the same thought. "It does'nt matter"? So if player clearly dived to win a Penalty and won the match would it "Not matter?"
I am utterly at a loss to see how he could give that - the ball canoned off ledley from a metre away as he dived in to tackle with his foot. An absolute joke. We shouldve just walked off the park before it was taken. Let the spl get on with writing some new rules about that.
Desperately going for the "these things even themselves out" line. Busquets had one given against him in the same fashion last night. The ref evened it up that time. I am not even angry yet. I suspect I will be. I wasn't surprised. I didn't expect Beattie to miss. It was just like a movie I'd seen before. Kerry are losing by a point to Mayo. I'll watch that now.
I think - im pretty sure actually - that I am generally fairly sang-froid about this kind of stuff - but that has really ****ing annoyed me, seriously poor, that ****wit shouldnt be in charge of a five-a-side kickabout. What can be so hard to understand about intent and the movement of ball to hand ?
Now Kerry are three points up and I am starting to fizz. I would say that I am sang-froid too, but I am in no mood for singing anything.
I'm scunnered It's time to act like champions and that was not a champions performance Time to plan an exit for those whose minds wander during a game and get one or two experienced heads in And if Stokes can't shift Samaras from the starting 11 he shouldn't be there next season
It couldve all been so different if Ki had got his haircut properly so that big Helmet wouldnt have stopped him directing the ball properly its that kind of detail lennon lacks the experiance to pick up and deal with......oh, Im trying to laugh about it now but its not really working. Anyway , hearts 1st goal .....anyone else think lurch sold himself too early ( again ) and made it easy for skacel ?
please log in to view this image This **** gave away a penalty. One point game folks. Into injury time. Stokes can't displace Sammy in a horses for courses approach. Free to send it to et.......scored it. 1-13 apiece
Nah, I think Skacel did well. Loovens should have booted man and ball into the stands in the build up to it.
Button it Timmy. We should be grateful that the referee didn't send Ledley off for deliberate handball.
that is very true , glenda tried to shepherd the hearts player rather than deal with the situation...still think lurch laid it on a plate , as he often does.....I do think he has the makings of a good keeper but his decision making is still not there, maybe thats to do with his age.
Of course you are right. This ref is known to be quite happy to award penalties. One need only look at the three games he has officiated involving Rangers to know that thee merest hint of an infringement shall be punished harshly.
Watch it again, it's clearly Chuck that is caught sleeping and let's Skacel get away from him! £20m full back last week but he's knocked a couple of million of that with his display today!
