Surprised Lahm doesn't get a mention as a full back.

A bit on the small side for a defender maybe but he's got great positional sense and doesn't let much get by.

I'd say that's quite fair to be honest. Wasn't sure about Sammy at number 4 but I suppose he IS very raw at the minute, has a bit room to improve.

    1. Ronaldo
    2. Messi
    3. Iniesta
    4. Rooney- Would improve any team in the world, FACT.
    5. RVP
    6. Casillas- consistently brilliant.
    7. Ashley Cole- still rate him as one of the best left backs ever.
    8. Tevez- Controversial, yes, but just look at the impact he's had this season, and how he almost single handedly carried Man City last season.
    9. David Silva- gone missing recently but still quality.
    10. Neymar- young, but outrageously talented.

Why have so little people put Cavani/Ibrahimovic in their lists?

    I can't speak for others but -

Cavani is a good striker but as an overall player, not in the top 10 for me.

Ibra - Great striker, good, technical player, but not in my top 10. Maybe in top 20.

I'm too lazy and have drank too much to compile a proper list, but I'm surprised by how few people have put Paul Scholes in their list...His passing ability ****s all over far too many included midfielders! It's not his ability to pick a pass (loads of lads, Cabaye incuded can do that) it's his timing, he seems to have a stop watch in his boots that knows EXACTLy when the defender/midfielder is going to switch off slightly, so he can thread a pass, unreal player!

My reason for having Ronnie above Messi is due to the fact Ronnie is a more complete player. He can cross, shoot and head far better than Messi can. Messi is better at dribbling though.
