If Jaaskelainen was to join a Championship team it would be someone either recently relegated like Wolves, Blackburn or QPR (IF they get relegated and depending if they lost their first keepers) or someone just missing out on promotion, West Ham may lose Green if they don't get promoted and Birmingham may go for Jaaskelainen if they can't rap up a deal for Myhill.
If Birmingham can't wrap up a deal for Myhill won't they just not let Foster join WBA permanently until WBA make both moves happen?
They could do that unless Foster puts a transfer request at Brum, if West Brom sell Myhill to another club Birmingham will not have a first team keeper, if they get promoted they could get Jaaskelainen and if they stay in the Championship they may still put an offer in. Depending on Promotion and Relegation alot of keepers may be moving in the summer, for example if West Ham fail promotion Green may join QPR (if they stay up) and Paddy Kenny could go to Leeds to link up with former manager Colin. Wayne Hennessy has been rumoured to join Everton or West Brom if Wolves get relegated AND that deal may depend on wether Birmingham gain promotion or not and their choice to sell or keep Foster. All very confusing but this is the sort of transfers you can expect in the summer depending on relegation and promotion.
