    Gyan is an arsehole, if I was a Mackem I wouldn't want that **** back especially if they can get rid for a decent fee. Can do way better with the kind of money they paid for him.

    Anyone that thinks that any player at newcastle would stick around if another club offered to double his wages and gave him a huge signing on fee is very naive.

    How can a club buy a player and then the player just go to another club and tell them he's not coming back ?
    Don't understand how Sunlun have no rights over this guy and can't tell the twat to get his ass back to them ?
    Anyone explain this ?

    Didn't know a player could just up sticks and move on when he felt like it. Surprised if he'd be allowed to play for another team under the circumstances.

    Most but not all, some may have built up enough money to be content and/or feel they are settled and happy, if you have a good life and a content family unit. Again most would but money is money, if they are careful with their wages, they will never go hungry.

    Wouldn't really though. He still gets his money and when his contract is a year shorter a greater number of clubs could afford him.
    There would still be takers even if he sat in the reserves for three years.
    Look at Tevez. Different calibre of player admittedly, but he ****ed city around and city were the ones losing out regardless what they did.
    The only way clubs could give a real **** you is if they terminated the contract wage wise, retained the registration for the contracts duration and sued for a transfer fee.
    Was it Kezman who Chelsea got with that?
