Davis - 5 very little to do apart from pick the ball out the net

Butterfield - 5 good crosses but started to get caught out
Fonte - 5 did ok, was outdone by Roberts unfairly.
    Hooiveld - 6 decent game
Fox - 5 unlucky with the mistake but thought he still played ok

Chaplow - 6 played well before being subbed
Hammond - 7 was livid when he was subbed, was the heartbeat of the team! Brilliant!
Cork - 6 decent and did ok against a strong midfield
Lallana - 8 MOTM, incredible, tricky, nippy and pacey, was simply brilliant

Sharp - 5 unlucky not to get a penalty, good chest down to Lambert
Lambert - 8 bossed the Reading defence and was brilliant, controlling and shooting!

    Subs:
Guly - 6 put the ball about well in the middle, not an awful lot of movement for him
De Ridder - 6 again, decent runs but became repetitive and predictable

Lallana 8? Started well but faded badly.

Thought Sharp did well holding the ball up, setting Lamberts goal up and generally passing the ball well considering he was being manhandled by the Reading centre halves throughout.

I'd put fonte and chaplow at 4s

And guly at a 5 but i'd blame adkins as he seemed to play him as a deep lying playmaker which isn't his thing.

Chaplow, Fonte Hammond were rubbish. You've been harsh on Sharp as well.

Lambert 9 stunning display the whole team played well just a couple of indivual errors and roberts being a nuscaince. without their two good centre halves and roberts it would have been a masacre it should have been a misacre anyway the way we played.

Jesus just seen others can we be fair , Lambert was our best player but was often caught facing the other way , De Ridder was also quite good but needs to push the ball in with pace not stall .

He didn't have his best game for us, but who did? Did you see him against Palace? Probably not.

What game were people watching here? We absolutely dominated reading and another night could have seen us win by 3 or 4. It seems a bit harsh to be giving everyone 4's or 5's

Well 4 for Fox who was thinking he was a Brazilian in the 70's with a pass like that .
4 for Hammond for not being able to read the game and pass the ball before its gets robbed from you .
4 for Fonte as he had a shocker and was made to look very very mediocre agaimst a 34 year old , what would a young Prem striker do ?
Chaplow could not cross a ball .
Sharp did not find enough space to be of use .
Lallana does not have the confidence to strike a ball on his weaker foot , just go for it .
So all in all not brilliant and the reaction showed I thought in a Nige's muse's afterwards .

Your all blind! Probably feeling hard done by like I am...
Fonte was poor and will need replacing, he has been muscled off the ball by hobbits twice in the last 4 games, as to chappers as his touch let him down but overall I thought we were bloody good and bossed the game! 3 shots 3 goals sometimes that's how it goes! Sharp and lambert are linking up pretty good now, they will be a handful!

The Lambo sharp partnership is coming to fruition now some good link up play. Hammond was ok but wasn't offensive enough. Fox, fonte, butterfield poor hoovield had Roberts in his pocket when he marked him and cork covered a lot of grass. Lallana absolutely brilliant reading just couldn't live with him and that croyff turn and chip :O.
DE RIDDER annoyed me a lot because he looked bright and played well but everytime he turned away from a player and the space opened he just turned back and gave it to butters. Such a shame because he had the beating of their LB
We're missing schniderlin and Chung and the bench looks lightweight. Having said that I think we will still go up in the autos but I think the title has gone IMO

You're right, I wasn't. I'm one of those people where every penny I have doesn't get spent on football. I have a life to live <ok>
