Opposition call Lambert a lump, I can tell you Jason Roberts is the definition of a lump.

Sometimes you just have to admit the best team won. Reading know how to win home and away. They did it without dirty play or cheating. They took a chance with Le Fondre and Roberts and are benefitting. Beating Leeds, Brighton and Saints isn't luck. We will have to take it on the chin

Yeah, had to go to the winning team - Frederici would have been a good shout and so would the match winner, whose name I can't bring myself to mention..

I think he probably deserves it after keeping 11 out of 12 on target shots out.

Not all, he had a couple where he did very well. He probably would have saved Lambert's goal had it not deflected.

I think we blew a few chances too, like Hooiveld's header in the first half.

Very disappointed. Thought we would do it with the way we started the game, but we had 19 attempts, 12 on target and only scored 1. They are good enough to score and have a good defence. If we play as well as we did and make all these chances, we will win our remaining games, starting with P'boro. Going to go to the wire.

Shame we couldn't convert our chances into goals. Not the first time that's happened. Reading were clinical and we weren't. Once we pulled back to 1-1 I thought we would go on and score a few.

Overall, plenty of positives but we need to start taking our chances- especially if we go up!

It shows now at this end of the season it is not about the way we play or the performance it's all about the result.
I was worried about this game as I was the Blackpool game and the Pompey game.
We need to grind out a result like Reading have been doing since their Peterborough defeat.
Lessons to be learnt again and we fans need to realise. We will not breeze this league.
Why is it always so hard as a Saints fan. My heart won't stand this.
