Having jumped on the Bubba Watsom tip on the masters thread and profited from that, has anyone got any good tips for the national tomorrow?

at cheltenham i picked synchronised just because the lads at work where argueing over the two favourites, so i just picked that one as it was 3rd favourite and made out i knew what i was talking about when it won <laugh>

going to stick with it tomorrow, then a few e/w on a couple of longshots with funny names...

If you are planning to go to the national tomorrow be aware the the police are very keen at this time of the year for speeding especially on the motorways M57/58. They are usually out bright and early and on the bridges and slip roads. I use these roads most days and there are quite a few hidden spots they use.

And they check the bogs for people doing coke, so make sure you crush it properly before you go, so you're not hanging around in there. <ok>

I've gone for a bet on the Walsh brother and sister in the race, can't remember the horses names, and one called Planet of Sound which has a lot of class apparently but a question mark over the trip, was 25/1 on monday morning.

the favourite never seems to win (big weights) and last year's winner find it tough to defend it so i'm gonna go for one of the 3rd/4/5th favourites at 12/1+ odds.

I'm quietly confident one f these will win

Junior is an interesting one, if he wins I think he will be the first horse to win at Royal Ascot, the Cheltenham Gold Cup meeting, and bag the National. I've backed the other lady jockey Nina Carberry too so fingers crossed for the first woman to win the National this year!

Yes. Keep your money in your wallet or spend it in the pub. Much better VFM.

Nothing to do with the National but for those who picked up my tip for Watson in the Masters I have put £20 on Kucher to win the RBC Heritage.

He's currently 6 off the lead at one under par, tied 19th.
You can get 21's for him. There's a long, long way to go but it ain't looking that clever at the moment.

Cheers, I did pick up the Bubba tip and it pocketed me a tidy £250. I owe you a beer. Maybe we should have a general betting / tip thread for those of us that like a flutter?

I noticed Planet of Sound went from 25/1 to 33/1 since I put the bet on, got first 5 places though so hopefully that will make up for it. Junior is quite an interesting one for me so got that one on the portfolio too. 5 Runners and I bet they all fall at the first

You have to have a tenner each way on Synchronised, may have questions about his jumping but he is a Gold Cup winner, thats class. AP should hack him round first circuit and pick em off after that.
Chicago Grey fiver each way, won over 4 miles. Classiest jockey you will ever see.

Carberry is that, Chazz? I've done his sister (not literally of course) so hopefully she can steal his thunder tomorrow!

Ye, he rides like a flat jockey. Just his toes in the irons, that is some balancing act.
If theres a woman with a chance mate its her. Good jockey. Seen her ride at Beverley awhile back.
