Some of our fans are going ott after we lost against Wigan last night, they were about to beat us sometime and unfortunately it was last night, the reactions to our defeat you would've thought we got relegated, chill out, we're 5 points clear and we were about to slip up i'd rather we did last night rather than against Man City, hopefully the manager will give them a big kick up the backside because we were awful.
I aint read any panic by United fans yet so the wobble isnt producing a wibble at the moment.Thank you for reading this.
Same here, the only mention of panic is comeing from Matt with his constant "don't panic Mr Mainwaring."
yep, we're man utd and we do things the hard way but we will win the league, and yeah Mancini is trying mind games but he is forgetting that he's starting mind games with the master which ain't going to work
Mind games. I agree, I and everyone else thinks the title race is over so how is it mind games? Before the game he said he still had a chance but that was unrealistic, now he is being realistic as United are in pole position with 5 points and 5 games left. Mind games, and panic, Matt, you read one post from some supporter and start a thread about it. Matt is in a manic panic but noone else is certainly not about losing to Wigan.
It's put some pressure back on UTD though, all it would take is for a draw this weekend and City go into the derby needing a win to go ahead again.
It has been a VERY weird season. That is why I wouldn't count my chickens. * City smashing everything in front of them for most of the season. Most pundits were already giving them the trophy. Then the implosion: who would have expected it? * United playing well for the first few games then 1-6 to city, out of the CL (and Europa in which we were not that keen anyway) and heading for the worst season in recent history and suddenly a good run and we are ahead in the league. Is it over? No way! * The scousers full of hope at the start of the season (aren't they always ) then self made disaster with Suarez, handled with absolute incompetence by the clown of a manager, then catastrophic loss of form not relieved by that Carling Cup. This has been a Weird Weird season. And it is not finished yet: I am going to hide behind the sofa.
Before the game we were eight points ahead with six games to play and he says the title race isn't over. Now we are five points ahead with five games to play and he says City can't win the league. So how can it be over now if it wasn't over on Sunday night? It's not as if City could've hoped for a better set of results...or was Mancini relying on us getting yet more injuries during the game?!?
Calm down? We have no effect on the title or any game. People can worry if they want, not alot of point but they will anyway
Five matches to go and only five points between us, a match at the council house this league is most definitely NOT over, and Fergie knows it, especially after that game at OT. Mancini is basically trying some very weak mind games, he certainly wont be telling his players its over.
