He was very good tonight ,wasn't he? Excellent goal and great allround playing whole match through. He started to look like the player we thought we bought. Well ,now im expecting somone to wrote and point those two misspasses he did tonight..............
When we bought him i thought now our team got "balls". Then i thought "no tener cojones" but now the team have balls and they are big ones too. Great match Joey, thank you!
Still on way back Barton was outstanding I eat my words Best player on the pitch Even did a trick in front of me 10/10 The team pressed very well As we sung 3-0 and a long way home That was spot on how to play the swans they had no answer Clean sheet More can be said for mine when I get back I will cake my lady in lard Johnny Crabsticks on his way home south a happy man
Show a little humility please for goodness sake. The man admitted after the game that the boos gave him the impetus he needed to sort his game out. Perhaps you should give some kudos to the Boo-Boys Igor?
Glad you enjoyed it DT, I was looking out for a fella in Lime Green Cords! Didn't spot you. Where was you sitting?
Posted this on another thread but should have posted it here: Glad (and also regretful) to see Barton doing what we loved him for. Forget his egotistical bull**** - and it was just that; he seemed to think everyone cared about everything he did. He's a quality footballer - one of the best English midfielders around - but over the last year he's got caught up in his hype. Hopefully being dropped has set his ego back for at least another season
Credit where credit is due Joey played well and looked the player we expected at the beginning of the season. Since being dropped he has come back strong, still a way til i'm convinced but definitely starting to sway me.
Credit where it is due, Barton had a great game. I am struggling to find an out and out MOTM though, there were so many solid performances across the team I reckon the champagne goes to them all. Barton and Adel have obviously been working on a few different free kick and corner options, the first went into row Z but Barton's second attempt was on target and Vorm didn't know much about the shot until it hit his chest! There are too many banana skins between now and the end of May for me to be confident of staying up, Wigan's result agains Utd was an utter shock, but based on our recent performances against 'Pool, the Gooners and the Swans we have at least given ourselves a fighting chance. A win against WBA plus one more or a couple of draws and it could just be enough, no way 40 points are going to be required this season. Well done again, it was fantastic last night. UP THE R'S!!!!
