Not sure what you expect me to say. I doubt SAF will guarentee success next year. Mancini didn't. This isn't a video game. It isn't fair. You can do absolutely everything perfectly and still not win.
you seem to be saying why buy? we have plenty of STARS coming through. I say thats said every year and it doesn't happen. So name them and when will they be first-teamers?
I did in another thread. I'm not going to tell you when they are going to be first teamers but right now but even if we sell a lot of young players we have a whole bunch waiting to come through. There is Ox and Ryo, but also Campbell, Wellington, Frimpong, Miquel, Coquelin, Jenkinson, before you start getting into the reserves. If you look a bit deeper there are plenty of people who will tell you Angha, Gnabry, Henderson, Ozyakup, Rees, Eisfeld and one or two others are going to be huge. These guys are finishing in the top three of the reserve league and they are really a U19 team. I think if they were playing anywhere else they would be breaking into the first team already.
I just watched this today and it reminded me of Newcastle! I think every fan of a team that has a small budget but still does well probably thinks of their team
