For god sake, I can't take anymore. Dai, while you may have some valid points, your post above regarding Graham is yet again rubbish. He held the ball up well tonight, and played a lovely ball to Scott who should have done better. So, I ask you, when was the ball given to him in a scoring position?
"I don't mind losing, but I do mind a gutless performance with no heart or passion! " And so say all of us! QPR are not that good - in fact they are a poor side. They looked edgy during the first half and what did we do? NOTHING! No attacking intent at all. In the end they had a go at us and it paid off. Reminded me of the Sousa era and that Ashton Gate game where we looked terrified to lose - and ended up doing just that. All in all an insipid performance front to back and we got what we deserved. Zip. Pathetic! Oh and Ash. Stop believing the hype. Watch the goals played back over the last few games and get it sorted. You really aren't that good. Sorry.
Will say one thing for QPR they made it an intimidating place to play at. Got right behind there team, we need to do that against Blackburn.
....Simple mate its a team game and not just down to Graham, and as a TEAM tonight,it hurts but we were terrible.Rabbits and headlights spring to mind
possibly worth it if we offload players. worked for newcastle...then again, they've got some other amazing players in tiote and they bought two strikers like that. we have funds for 1 striker like that probably, but we need a new CB next season because caulker will be gone.
ermmm he is the main striker and holding up the ball is his downfall, he should take players on and get into scoring positions instead of doing someone else's job of holding the ball, we need to try and sell him to a top championship side and try and get some of our £3.5 million we paid for him, he is not the right striker for us in any shape or form.....nice lad but we want a nice lad who can score goals out of nothing and im afraid danny will never be that player.....we have given him his chance so he cant complain, the team and our premiership status comes before anything else, and while we are at it drop sinclair as he is to greedy and his shooting is diabolical...
He can't create something when the only place he gets the ball is the halfway line. If anything, dyer and Scott need to cross more, that's what DG thrives on. May I ask, do you honestly think a new strikers will solve our problem? I don't.
...i'm agreeing with you lol,it was meant to be a general reply somehow it got tagged as a reply to quote, think i'm just annoyed and typing to ****ing fast!!
Knackered - exactly what I was thinking. He's already thinking of next season. Positionally he's been shocking lately. Tonight was awful. They bullied us off the park. Routledge was terrible. Our end product is woeful. We just don't make enough chances. Frustration is at a maximum at the moment.
Oh well one to forget, that surely must rank as our worst performance all season, and Rodgers looked vacant on the touchline, if the only plan B is Moore, then hell we have had it, even Dobbie could have given us something against this QPR first half, I'm sorry but Rodgers has made a big mistake not letting Dobbie gain some form in the Prem, Dobbie plays well behind the first striker, and scored an amazing goal for Blackpool the other day, he's scoring for fun, when Rodgers signings can't buy a goal! Sorry but our players need a kick up the rear end.......... please log in to view this image

May I ask, do you honestly think a new strikers will solve our problem? I don't. thats my point i agree he cant create anything as he is more a championship player than a good premiership player. we have had plenty of crosses over the last 10 games so why has he not scored, even law of averages he should have scored at least one goal. ....would a more suited striker score in them ten games.....you bet they would have, you cant keep making excuses that he dont get any service as you say your self he had a good game and held the ball up well.......we dont want him to hold the ball up well, we want him to take on the defence and take some shots at goal. holding the ball up wont get him goals, just look how norwich strikers work and qpr's.......they dont hold the ball up they get into positions and take our defence on.....and they score.....he is just not good enough for the way we play ash and its not his fault but not everyone can play our system....
Problem 99 is we can't get a decent cross over. Routledge wasted loads tonight. It's a wonder my TV is in one piece tonight, never be so frustrated watching us play.
Things to consider. Looks like we have been found out which will have repercussions on next season's squad (I'm assuming that we will stay up. Just!!!) I'm sure Siggy must be having second thoughts. Even if he was available I'm guessing that he is now feeling that he could play for a better team than us. Same with Caulker. Don't think either of them fancy a relegation scrap next season and, make no mistake, that's what they'll be involved in if they stay with us. That brings us to the likes of Ash, Sinclair and perhaps Dyer and Vorm. I can see them wanting to ship out rather than struggle with us. Joe would probably stay as a local lad and Leon has signed. I don't think that Rangel would leave because his lack of pace would deter any serious bids. Taylor, Danny, Moore and Lita to stay because I don't think they would attract too much interest anyway. So, worst case scenario means that we could lose our two centre backs, keeper, main play-maker and the two wide men. This might be pessimistic but it could happen. If it does ( and some WILL go) it begs the question as to who will replace them? Now we have problems because, as a mid table team, we would have been an attractive proposition for a number of quality players. As a team just above the relegation spots, likely to have to fight tooth and nail just to survive next season, we will be reduced to looking at the scraps that other teams don't want. Yes, we can find young or unknown talent which is easier said than done but that won't keep us up anyway. We need experienced quality players who know what it takes to play at this level. I fear not too many of them will fancy us. Knee jerk reaction? No! I fear it's a football version of "never mind the quality, feel the width". With us it's, "never mind the goals, count the passes". We have lost FOUR on the bounce with a goal ratio of 1-10!!!!!!!! Handsome, eh? Bottom of the table form if ever I saw it. Let's not delude ourselves, this has been coming. Historically we have struggled against teams who press us and are physical with it. Yet nothing has been done about it. I had a bad feeling about this game in particular, remembering how QPR gave us a second half battering at the Liberty. We look good against the footballing sides because they give us room and space to play. We cope against purely physical sides because they offer little more than effort. Where we really come unstuck is against teams who can play but also have that physical edge. We can't handle it. And we can't handle it because, and I say this for the hundredth time, WE ARE TOO LIGHTWEIGHT IN MIDFIELD. Joe and Leon are great given time and space to play but denied it, they lose the ball and we come under pressure. Yes, they do a lot of hustling and harrying but I'm talking about using muscle to win the ball and keep it when it's won. They haven't got that in their locker and stronger midfielders are sorting them out. As for general fitness levels, quite frankly they suck and it's about time Buck started doing a bit less with the ball in training and a whole lot more conditioning. Wish I could say rant over but there's a whole lot more that should be said - and will be in due course. Overreacting? Just think back to that farcical non performance that we just witnessed and you have your answer.
Don't waste your time rrrrrs, they only lost because they played poorly apparantly nothing to do with us outplaying them, showing more desire and crucially sussing their tactics out perfectly. Shame we didn't get the 4th goal just to keep our average home win ratio against them Good luck you swans you've earnt the right to stay up but on the last 4 games is say you need a better plan b
