Hessy was given 3 seasons to get us up so he has 1 season left. It has been a missed oppuninity not to make the play offs. We should have been good enough with this squad but to many players were not consistent enough or fit. Not 1 player can say they played well the whole season. Jackman was proberly the most consistent ,Kedwell played well, worked hard but did not look confident in front of goal with most of his goals being pens. The defence is still a problem, the midfield to static, no movement and no pace. We really missed Tomlins who may of been the differnce that we could have made the play offs. Lee and Whipdale are better than this level but again did not produce enough.
To the original question, I would say no. However, I'm in two minds, because I'm sick of the management cycle of: 1. sack manager for failing to reach expectations 2. season 1 - new manager gets rid of the deadwood, brings in his own squad 3. season 1 - squad doesn't reach expectations - season written off as transitional 4. season 2 - squad fails to reach expectations again 5. repeat process There is a fine line to walk between consistency and change. If you're not careful you just go round in (very costly) circles. Scally has to make a big decision
