The sight of this person in the stands at Fratton Park last night, when the final whistle was blown, is some-thing we must all now accept. We must now look forward to next season and some of the new things it will bring. A new competition to enter (Johnsons Paint Trophy) Some grounds that many (especially those under 40) will be visiting for the first time. The prospect of seeing (and maybe standing on) terracing (again for the first time for some) at some grounds. So let's use this thread as one where we can list the POSITIVE things we can look forward to next season.
Cheaper tickets More older grounds means none of these new, away from boozer, boring to look at bowls.
One of my favourite things about League 1 and which I have missed this season is no internation breaks. In other words you lot will still get a game while the rest of us HAVE to watch England.
out of the current league one clubs ive only visited sheff utd, walsall, bournemouth and scunny so lots of exciting new away trips to look forward to xD
It won't be as bad as all that. Some new grounds-some fairly local. A weekend in Torquay perhaps. Swindon, Cherries and Brentford (never been to Griffin Park) I'm sure there's some great boozers out there just waiting to be discovered. I'm hoping at least one Sheffield club will still be in League One-The Fat Cat must be up there with the finest pubs in England. Firstly, we must hope that we actually HAVE a club to follow though....
"The sight of this person in the stands at Fratton Park last night, when the final whistle was blown, is some-thing we must all now accept." Gawd Kanu has changed a bit since we last saw the little vixen. Off taking singing lessons eh? I actually think if you end up in L1 and solvent it'll be fun and a hell of a relief. As some of us can remember just a short time ago, when I had to force myself to look at the BBC footy pages expecting a RIP notice.
