whats your opinion http://www.ebay.de/itm/NSU-LAMBRETT...10857117293?pt=Motorräder&hash=item19cf995e6d
Neither of them are classic Lambretta's as such. The top one is an NSU Lambretta, made in Germany in the 50's under license from Innocenti in Italy. It's based on the Lambretta LD, which is actually my favourite scooter, so it looks good and as it's German, it's probably better made than the Italian Lambretta's. They only made them in the early 50's, as the German's fell out with the Italians, after they ignored the fact they were only allowed to sell in Germany and they shipped a load to America. As it's so old, it might not be all that reliable(not that any of them are really) and it did have some custom parts that differ from most Lambretta's, some parts might be hard to come by(and the current owner seems to have stuck a nice dent in the front), but other than, it's a good scooter. The second one is a piece of ****, licensed by Scooters India and it's only worth buying if you're going to torch it.
Those german lammys are as heavy as fk... Great if you stick a ts1 engine in from AF rayspeed ... Best thing to do is get a px200 with a kit on for long distance rally's of go for a t5 . Spent quite a bit on tuned lambrettas in the past and often ended up in tears . Happy scootering
Serveta lynx Pmsl Horrible things but ok for getting out the hacksaw and making into a chop then sticking an SX or GP engine in . My brother use to have a bog standard one and was often passed by snails going up hills
