If he really is a 'special one' he needs to take on a club in the lower reaches of the Prem and take them to glory. In my opinion hes always took on big jobs with loads of money to spend, except Porto where is was just really really lucky.

I'm not saying Newcastle, though it would be an interesting match. IMO i think to be a true great you have to do something like Brian Clough did with Forest.

Until then hes just a gobshite.

Pride of place opposite the European Cups in their trophy room, so absolutely right.

Mourinho is putting himself in the shop window because he knows he is out of a job in the summer....

... Big Sam has been on the prowl for too long now. The Madrid board wont be able to resist his talent, tactical savvy and sparkling charm much longer. They'll sign him up to a 20 year deal in the summer.

I mean, what would you rather: Mourinho or those stupid ****ing bike machines on the touchline? Its a no brainer really.

Think Mourinho will stay at Real Madrid , he's alway's said he would like Man U job but I still dont see SAF retiring.

He's almost 70, and Mourinho is 48, so when SAF does retire (whether it's soon or in a fair few years to come) Mourinho will still be in the prime of his managerial career and probably prepared to take over. Depending on how long that is, Mourinho might hop from Madrid to Man U, or might manage at other clubs inbetween.

That's ridiculous money, I do think he'll come back to the prem at some point though but unlikely to be on those terms.

It would make more sense if he meant 20mil salary and 150mil budget over 4 or 5 years, then Chelsea or Man U could probably afford him as well as City. He's too arrogant to go anywhere outside the top four anyway though (not that he wouldnt get a top 4 job easily).

I always thought they'd get Moyes, but if Mourinho would do it then the money 'Arry spends is comparable with Mourinho (given club finances).

I don't get out of bed for less than a coffee and the chance of a biscuit.
