It's not a pointless waste of time when you're the one trying to run the PL, it saves you a lot of time. Having the table and the results from each week on one thread with all the discussion, and a seperate thread each week for the actual predictions to go on makes it a lot quicker for people to see the new fixtures are up, and means that if people get talking about the results from the previous week like they have on this thread he doesn't have to wade through 3 or 4 pages of posts to copy all the predictions down. Having said that, he doesn't need to keep asking for match threads to be stickied/unstickied because I said to him I'd just do it when it needed doing so that there wouldn't be a need for anyone else to be involved.
There used to be a very good prediction league on the old 606 and it was always on one thread all season. There was no debate on it, it was just people's predictions and a weekly updated table, it allowed anyone who thought they'd been shortchanged to check anything they'd posted in the same place. I'm not really bothered how it's done, I just think it should be as simple as possible and as it worked fine on the old site, I saw no reason to make it any more complicated.
I'm just going from what I've found from running one elsewhere for the last few years. We can certainly try it on one and go back to seperate threads if he finds it's a pain in the arse when people get talking though. I also thought it might be the number of stickies we'd have once we get a promotion chase one back in place next season, but as there's been very few views of the rules/tips thread recently I've unstickied it and put a link in my signature like I've seen on other boards. If we get an influx of people and we need it back I'll top it or sticky it again. Before I forget: Norwich 0-2 Man City Sunderland 1-2 Wolves Man Utd 1-0 Villa Arsenal 2-1 Wigan Watford 1-1 Hull City West Ham 1-0 Brighton Doncaster 3-1 Portsmouth Leeds 2-0 Peterborough Preston 2-1 Huddersfield Swindon 1-2 Plymouth

To cheat you have to be aware that you're cheating If anything you cheated by getting me a point deducted, you bastard!
I think Charlie should resolve this matter the same way the ref in the Real game dealt with Higuain's suggestion that Gustavo should be booked.
