When we got promoted 5th and 6th place finished on 71 and 70 points City still have 12 to play for? this seasons alot different but you never know thats all im saying.
We gave up on the play offs weeks ago and now we have a genuine chance of getting in their. If you win at the weekend and results go for you who knows how the table will look. It will be difficult but still possible for you.
Whilst it is still mathematically possible, I would be amazed if we reach the top 6. As long as we finish the season on a positive note I will be happy
If we win a couple of more games, score some goals then I will be happy. 68 points would be decent, plenty to build on for next season.
It's not impossible, but I think we'd need to win all 4 of our remaining games, which I guess is unlikely!
Exactly my point, I would have taken a top 10 finish at the start of the season and my thoughts haven't changed.
Well NOW the first target has to be 66 points to better last seasons total under negative Nigel. Anything else is a bonus and Yes its still very much on as 5th and 6th place are still up for grabs. imo,.
I think we could end up having a good go if it goes right on sat. Cardiff could easily start throwing it away they always do, they'll lose to barnsley, westham will do Brighton, borough will draw at derby, flat top will lose to millwall we'll stuff watford. We'll be happy sat in 7th a point of 6th haha always the optimist.
I am just delighted that the team have found some fight, and delivered a win. A double bonus having Koren and Chester back. I think the West Ham game away is looking winnable, great come back v Brum, but they look **** and nervous at Upton Park. The other 3 look tricky, Watford and Forest in a bit of form and Barnsley who like ourselves have been out of sorts.
Im just gonna take each game as it comes. If we get to the playoffs, great, if we don't, Im not going to be upset. I still think we need another season in the Championship, at least, and honestly prefer seeing us winning more games than we lose, which is what would happen in the PL.
I'm forever the optimist but need 4 wins from 4 so that's a no from me.. ending the season on a good note will be invaluable though..
We do well @ Watford who should be on the beach along with Barnsley and Forest now. West Ham stuck in 3rd and who knows what team Big Sam will play in that game. So yes 4 wins very doable. Go for it and whatever happens happens. 66 points or more and the seasons been a better one than last seasons under NP. end of.
We've lost too many games recently, but the closer we get, the easier recruitment will be, so there's still plenty to play for.
