    Man Utd on top with 79 pts after 32 games played and a + 51 GD
    Man City second with 71 pts after the same number of games played and a + 49 GD
    Arsenal third with 61 pts and a + 22 GD
    Spurs fourth with 59 pts after 33 games played and a + 19 GD
    Toon in fifth with 59 pts after 33 games played and a + 8 GD
    Chelsea in sixth with 56 pts after 32 games played and a + 18 GD
    Everton in seventh with 47 pts and a + 4 GD
    Liverpool in eighth with 43 pts and a +3 GD

    I don't think any of us in our wildest dreams would have been expecting us to be up there punching our weight with the big boys. I'd have expected us to be in a respectable mid table position, although safety would have been acceptable.

    Hopefully an injury free end of season will see us finish in the top five and open up the door to Europe. Got to admit it looks mouth wateringly good. Time to get the old passports out. HTL.

    I'm still pessimistic about Europe.... I can't see Liverpool beating Everton on current form. And I can see us finishing 6th still.

    Hope I'm wrong of course.

    Lets just hope Liverpool don't lose to Everton on purpose.

    We won't finish 5th I suspect due to our last 3 games but the players deserve it.
